“He of Litte She 300” Graphic Design by Katherine Gerardi. A co-creation of Art. A screen capture image of the “Compass Rose” drawing by Greg Frucci which is mounted on the hull of the S/V Cuddy while at sea sailing to the West, a photograph of the mast taken by Greg Frucci laying on the deck of the S/V Cuddy while sailing to the East, a black and white photo of Frucci before he set sail to the East and the original artwork of Katherine…all compiled into this piece.

All Illustrations in the book are the original artwork of the author, Greg Frucci and Katherine Gerardi.  Some of the works are original creations by either Greg or Katherine.  Some of the works, and I think the most magical, are products of a Co-Creative process by Greg and Katherine working together.   From time to time, Greg will send a drawing he created or photograph he shot to Katherine and within a short time, some instances less than an hour, Katherine will send Greg back a completed work of art full of new Life and Color.  As the Artist, she trusts the process, as one who is taken by the current….until…she is washed ashore with completion…feeling the sense of having ‘Arrived’….and stands back to see what wanted to come forth.

He gave me this drawing when I sailed the S/V Cuddy back into Masonboro in December, 2011.

  1. Would love to buy a print of Sirian Nautilus for my treatment space. Is this possible?

  2. I am in awe. The cover, “Leap of Faith” and “Atlantis remembers 11” are breath taking. All of the illustrations, truely capture the multidimensional aspects, that stir my Soul. Thank-You for creating and sharing such Beautiful work.
    Blessings,
    Steph

    • Thank you Stephanie, but I can only take with me partial joy and credit from your words…Katherine Gerardi is simply amazing in her Way of Feeling what I write and the simple artwork I send her. The incredible aspect is her ability to “see” what I write even before I send it to her. This Co-Creative process has been a blessing from the Universe to Us.
As I write this to you, I am finished with the rough draft…the Path is being edited right now by another Katherine…Katherine Hudson. The past few weeks have been a Time of seclusion as I furiously wrote the final words and chapters ending with the Epilogue…emerging now and feeling a joy of close completion.
I will publish this work very soon offering a free ebook version…more on that later.
Peace to you…and thank you again,
      greg

  3. Hi, I think these are incredibly inspiring illustrations! They are definitely touching my soul with,” Longtail Dreaming,” and,” Atlantis Remebers 11,” being visually stunning! I love them all, they have an intellect behind them i’ve never encountered! I want to thank you for the like! Obviously success will be finding you soon, if it hasn’t already! I hope your art does extremely well!

    • Wow…thank you for your warm words about these illustrations and I am extremely happy your Soul is touched by them. Most of the original graphite sketches flowed many years ago…some recent with the inspiration coming from the solo sail to Bermuda like the “Longtail” drawings. With Katherine Gerardi’s manipulation of the drawings and photos I took into her artistic world, the colorful artwork is coming into it’s own. I love the Co-Creative process. And I can’t wait to finish the book with many of these pieces included as they appear here on this website.
Thank you again, oh writer of the lightningpen…Peace to you,
      Greg Frucci

  4. Your artwork is fantastic. I really like ‘Eye of truth’ and ‘Reclamation’. Nice teamwork on the latter. 🙂

  5. what a beautiful talent…i am speechless

  6. Fantastic combined Talents here !
These Illustrations are flowing naturally as “the soul of the story” ♥

The Cover is just perfect, Atlantis Remembers and Storm Offshore are about the most visually striking of this group.
I love the “Walking” charcoal drawing, also because of the poem it is related to, as a moment suspended in time.
“He of Little She″ is a masterpiece of graphic narrative. I hope you will decide upon including this piece in the final printing of your book…
There’s a calm dreamy quality about these superimposed images, like the feel of a past that has been felt behind without regrets. And at the same time, a sense of peaceful determination and focus on the Present Time through Good Memories that are carried forever in the Heart.

    So very nice indeed!
Fantastic work of two artistic visions working as one !

    • { Sorry for mistake : ” that has been LEFT behind without…” 🙂 }

    • “There’s a calm dreamy quality about these superimposed images, like the feel of a past that has been felt behind without regrets. And at the same time, a sense of peaceful determination and focus on the Present Time through Good Memories that are carried forever in the Heart. ”

I couldn’t have said it any better myself Silvia…you nailed it…
Thank you for your words about the work Katherine and I are doing…it’s wild this co-creative process…I have dreamed of adding something to many of these drawings for years…through working with her, a manifestation has become reality. Everything is coming together nicely as we walk this Path.
      🙂
      Peace to you…and Bliss,
      greg

      • Your drawings had been originally created in times that gradually became your past…
The spiritual changes of growth within, might somehow had “outdated” the feeling you had when you draw them long ago…
But nowadays, after many Manifestations of Light lived, through the years, these drawings have become “more complete”… more “Present-Reality-like”…
I sense Life as an artwork we go creating along the Way; and when one day we get to finish “the artwork of my life”, we would have completed the little masterpiece of this Present Lifetime. (That’s how I see my Lifetime at least… as a painting I have to gradually complete the best I can… Gradually, I will make my little ♥masterpiece)
Peace and Blissfulness in all you do, Greg ! So that, all you Do, will Bliss others and Yourself in return ♥

    • Her work is amazing…
      I feel like I don’t even have to try…
I just quiet the mind and a drawing will appear…
      I send it to her…and…

Poof…I feel blessed to be able to work with Katherine.

peace to you and thanks Kevin for your words…
